Liberosis is a multi-award winning 3D Third-person Platformer game for PS4 & PC made in 9 weeks as a part of my education at PlaygroundSquad.

It's set high in the clouds on scattered floating islands, featuring heavy vegetation & signs of past civilizations with ruined buildings & statues, as well as tents & fireplaces, indicating that a newer civilization is developing.

You can view the game's page on PlaygroundSquad's site

For this project, I worked as the Lead Designer, with Liberosis being my own idea developed into a proper game. Below, I'll detail some of my contributions to the game;

Of the tasks I worked on for the project, they were all primarily around management, be it the creation of the GDD or weekly presentations to show our progress, holding daily standups wherein we went over what we worked on the day before, what we'd work on that day & any problems we had, as well as managing our Trello boards, which we used to keep track of our work.

In terms of design, I mostly worked with the basic concept, as well as details such as how we made the tutorials work; Only appearing if the player doesn't do the action the tutorial would teach, thus being unobtrusive.

Of the tasks that related to things directly in the game, my primary task was working on the collisions of all objects in the game, I also helped with tuning all the features & mechanics to feel as nice as possible & provided feedback on level designs, prototypes of mechanics & art assets. General quality assurance type stuff.

I also worked closely with the people in our team to make sure that we all shared the same image for the game & that everyone was doing well.
